Groupon. Gilt. Living Social…. and SniqueAway


I am addicted to the new crop of invitation only e-commerce sites that promise great new deals every day. Yesterday, a new site joined the pack. It’s called SniqueAway and it’s operated by Smarter Travel Media. They market it as “the first members-only site where each travel deal is endorsed by the people.” What does this mean? User Generated Reviews determine a hotel’s eligibility. All hotels featured on SniqueAway have earned a minimum four-star rating classification and a minimum four out of five TripAdvisor review rating.

SniqueAway prominently features TripAdvisor reviews so buyers can quickly snag a great deal with confidence. If this site takes off the way other daily deal sites have taken off, hotels will have yet another incentive to ensure they have nothing but great reviews on TripAdvisor.
