Summary of Terms & Conditions

At Revinate, your privacy and security are important to us. As we make changes to our products and services, we’re also working hard to safeguard your data. We have made some changes to our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions(T&Cs) for use of Revinate’s services. Highlights of the changes are provided below.

TRUSTe Privacy Certification
Our privacy and security practices have been certified by TRUSTe, an industry leading third party provider of comprehensive privacy certification requirements. As part of the certification process, TRUSTe annually reviews our systems and our privacy practices. TRUSTe also recommends certain changes to the way we describe our information-gathering procedures. Our revised Privacy Policy incorporates TRUSTe’s recommendations.

Confidentiality of Data
Revinate aggregates data from many sources. We gather publicly available social sentiment about hotels from sources such as TripAdvisor. Hotels can provide us with confidential information such as guest lists, occupancy rates and revenue per available room, and we make available third party research data that includes average revenue per available room for a hotel’s local competitors. Finally, we collect post-stay surveys directly from guests and interact with guests during their hotel stays. Some of this information is confidential to hotels, some is private to guests, some is confidential third-party information and some information is public on the web. We have updated our T&Cs and Privacy Policy to explain how we handle each type of information.

New Products
Revinate has introduced several new products and features that interact directly with hotel guests. We call this suite of features inGuest. Hotels can ask guests to fill out surveys about their guest experiences either online or via a tablet device. Guests can also use Revinate apps to interact with hotels in different ways including confirm a reservation or order room service. We have updated our Terms and Conditions to incorporate the inGuest features for users of that product. We have also added separate Terms of Service [www.revinate.com/guest-terms] to describe how guests can use our products.
