Yosemite Valley Lodge leveraged segmentation to target guests in California, Nevada, and Oregon to promote a rare seasonal sale. The one-time email campaign encouraged guests to book a last-minute trip within driving distance to secure unbeatable deals on lodging, and explore a variety of winter activities. For one week only, guests could book their stay for as low as $129 a night. The campaign performed exceptionally well among all guests — driving over 1,400 room nights.
