This automated cancellation recovery drip campaign is a great way to get guests who have canceled a reservation to come back and rebook. Kandima sends email #1 of 2 emails 1 hour following a cancellation and again 5 days later if the initial email has not been clicked. They exclude any guest emails that have future stays at their hotel. This cancellation recovery drip campaign has been a huge success for the hotel, generating 118 room nights in the past 30 days. The campaign has a 48% open rate and 5% click-through rate. A huge success for Kandima!
